There is going to be a work 'party' on Sunday May 17th at 9am at the EOC parking lot (near our trailer). We are going to be building a kite antenna to be used for Field Day this year. We will also be doing some other maintenance work on some of the other equipment as we wait for the glue to dry. Please let Diana, KD2AEG, know if you are coming so we can get enough refreshments.
Once again PEARL will be participating in ARRL's Field Day event. Field day is an event where the objective is to work as many other amateur radio stations in the United States and Canada. Field day is most likely the single largest emergency preparedness drill in the country. PEARL will also be conducting a VE Session all throught Saturday for those who want to take an exam for their amateur radio license.
